What shouldn’t you bring?

Due to expected crowds, please don’t bring your dog unless it’s a certified service animal. Please don’t bring chairs to watch the mainstage concerts, which will be standing room only. Also, due to crowds, bikes, hoverboards, and skateboards are not permitted.

What to Expect

Expect all things local…food, vendors, and activities highlighting all the things that make Erie worth celebrating. Each day, expect to find a full slate of activities and entertainment in each of CelebrateErie’s districts:

The Food District in West Perry Square, with local food trucks and food and beverage vendors serving up a diverse mix of meals and treats all day long

The VNET Fiber Family District in East Perry Square, with the Family Stage featuring dance and gymnastics acts, storytime and children’s yoga.

The Erie Insurance Marketplace, where you’ll find vendors, artists, small businesses and more at the largest Erie marketplace CelebrateErie has seen in years!

The Marquette Savings Bank Chalkwalk, the most popular attraction at CelebrateErie, will showcase nearly 30 vibrant chalk drawings done by local artists spanning a city block.

In addition to the national headliners on the Northwest Bank Mainstage, come early to watch the local opening acts, and a full, three-day lineup of local performers on three stages throughout the festival area. We are expecting large crowds this year, so plan to arrive early with a plan for parking.

CelebrateErie is taking extra precautions this year to ensure a safe and fun event for all attendees. We would like to thank the Erie Police, Millcreek Police, Erie County Sheriff’s Department, and the Pennsylvania State Police for their assistance in making sure CelebrateErie is safe and secure throughout the entire weekend!
