Let's Celebrate, Erie!
Downtown Erie will come alive, once again, August 15-18, 2013! CelebrateErie is a four-day summer street festival held in downtown Erie. The event features free access to local art museums, displays and demonstrations from local artists, street vendors, and entertainment and activities designed to encourage the arts. It also includes musical performances from a wide variety of local and nationally renowned artists across the multiple genres. The event is divided into multiple “zones” or areas to include: Celebrate Diversity, Kids Zone, Kids Construction Zone, Chalk Walk, Taste of Erie, Artist Colony and more.

Taste of ErieThursday evening marks the opening of CelebrateErie and Taste of Erie is the place to be! With plenty of seating, and music to enjoy, come sample some of Erie’s finest eating establishments have to offer. While strolling through Perry Square, you can also check out the Artist Colony, where some of the regions most acclaimed artists will display their art for the night. |

Chalk WalkLocal artists and artists from around the tri-state area come together to spend three days on their hands and knees creating spectacular chalk murals along State Street. Spectators can watch with delight as pictures come alive throughout the weekend. Guests will even be able to vote for their favorite piece of work. |

Grand Finale FireworksOn Sunday night, immediately following the main stage musical entertainment, Zambelli Fireworks Internationale will host one of its world-famous fireworks display over the Bayfront at Dobbins Landing. |
